Video Visual Development Artist Katia Oloy whose resent work includes the unofficial mascot of the Abominable Snowman seen at the Disneyland Park’s Matterhorn ride. Oloy takes on the Disney Villains giving them a roaring 1920′s redux, featuring Pirate of the Jolly Roger brig, Captain Hook in preppy Oxford’s ready to set sail, then you have frisky little flapper dress Emperor’s New Groove, Yzma. For the evil sea witch Ursula a little black backless dress, Cruella de Vil drinks tea in her raccoon coat, Snow White’s Evil Queen is adorn in robe de style dress and shingle bob. I love 1920′s fashions and the collection comes in just in time for The Great Gatsby. What do you think?

Disney x Glidden: Paints and Specialty Finishes
Disney has revealed a new line of paints and specialty finishes from the makers of Glidden paint. The new collection of exclusive paints take inspiration from the playful colors of Winnie the Pooh’s Hundred Acre Wood, Mickey Mouse and Friends, Pixar’s Cars and Monsters Inc., and the Disney Princess. The new Disney Paints will be sold exclusively through Walmart retailing for $13.47 per quart and $27.97 per gallon. The specialty finishes retail for $10.97 – $19.97 per quart and All That Glitters and Speck-tacular are also available for $29.97 per gallon. Each of the custom colors are designed in such away that the collection coordinates with Disney bedding products.
“The Disney Paint line is a magical collection of 112 exclusive colors grouped into three palettes, with imaginative Disney-themed names, designed to give parents and children options at every stage, from infant to tween,” said Jason Stewart, director of softlines product development for Disney Consumer Products. “This makes decorating with your child easy and fun – no matter the age.”
“With Disney Paint, parents can transform their homes into places where their kids will love to play, sleep and most importantly, make memories,” continued Stewart.

LEGO has released a couple Iron Man 3 LEGO posters to promote the Marvel’s Iron Man 3 feature film and the new Iron Man LEGO sets. The posters compliment the official Marvel theatrical posters but in LEGO form! Marvel’s Iron Man 3 hits theaters May 3, 2013 starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Marvel’s Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black.

LEGO FERRARI F1 Kicks Off 2013 Formula 1 Season
A life-size replica of a Ferrari F1 car, inspired by the 2011 F150 Italia, made completely from LEGO blocks besides the real Pirelli racing tires, this life-size LEGO Ferrari kicks-off the 2013 Formula 1 season! Scuderia Ferrari racers and teammates, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa got to play with the LEGO F1 before the Singapore Grand Prix. The life-size LEGO Ferrari took 16 people, ten days to assemble using more than a thousands LEGO pieces to construct! This promotion conjoins with last Novembers’ Shell Gasoline team-up with LEGO which produced a set of 1.1 scale LEGO Ferrari sets, exclusively for Euro Shell gas stations, unfortunately they are not currently available in the US. 2013 New York Toy Fair Madame Alexander Recap
One of my highlights at the 2013 New York Toy Fair is always to see the lovely ladies of the Madame Alexander booth. I have to admit I have never been much of a doll person, I have had a few collectables here and there, though I find myself giving them to someone I know who would really appreciate the articulation collectable dolls have. Regardless I always make a point to come visit Madame Alexander to see what wonderfully delightful doll collaborations that are in store for the upcoming year. Obviously my eyes always dart to the Disney collectables and this year MA surprised me with the 2013 collection which included 10” Tinker Bell and her sister Periwinkle, an 8” Pinocchio (in Pleasure Island) and 10“ Disney princesses, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White, and a 8” Christopher Robin and Classic Winnie The Pooh, all dolls are fully articulated.
Plus Madame Alexander was pleased to show off their 10” Cissette dolls fully articulated, based on characters from the new Disney movie, Oz the Great and Powerful, featuring main characters Oz (Oscar Diggs), Glinda, Theodora and Evanora, all perfectly crafted in costumes reflecting their roles. It also happens to be the 75th Anniversary of the classic Wizard Oz movie.

Unpublished Osamu Tezuka World War II Comic
A cartoon recently discovered dating back to the World War II (1928-29) maybe the art of Japan’s most renowned and beloved manga artists Osamu Tezuka. The untitled, 19-page comic certainly looks like his art, sources say that Tezuka likely gave the unpublished comic to a friend when he was in junior high school. The comic depicts a university professor who decides to solve the food shortage problem after seeing starving people at a black market. He organizes an important conference attended by all the professors at his university. An official announcement of the appraisal results will come next week from Tezuka Productions.
