Cartoon Network Pulls DC Nation Block From October Lineup

There was a bit of a scare yesterday big news dropped that Cartoon Network abruptly took off the DC Nation block from its line up. A wave of aggravated fans went off on Twitter, blogs and the message boards with displease begging for CN to return the shows in their entirety. The shows affected Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series which both just begun airing new episodes only two weeks ago.

Green Lantern producer Giancarlo Volpe says, “Apparently Cartoon Network preempted it in celebration of their 20th birthday. Their logic, not mine. I am very disappointed. [...] Preempted means they replaced it (hopefully only temporarily) with How to Train Your Dragon.” continuing with “I am hoping they’ll be back in two weeks. But nobody knows for sure.”

Cartoon Network later announced on its Twitter, “Hey #DCNation fans! Have you heard?? DC Nation will return in January with all new episodes!”

So I guess the shows will be back but just at a later date what a tease!
