Tom Hanks - Electric City - Frist 10 Episodes - Review
I just watch the first 10 nano episodes of Tom Hanks of Electric City so here is my review/recap of what has happened so far. Episode 1: “Truth Of Consequences” – starts off with… “paradise has many names Eden, Utopia, the place of security the illusion of freedom, humankind gets in the way of perfection, ghost in machinery of civilization, best to ask no questions and be told no lies.. in the Electric City”…You frist meet a character named Vernon Smalls who is released from Electric cites penitentiary afer serving 6 months for a petty crime. He comes back to his girlfriend and starts abusing her. The main character Cleveland Carr (voiced by Tom Hanks) is sent in as a hit man to eradicate him, episode ends with “All in Service to All”. Episode 2: “The Voice of The City” – starts off with Cleveland meeting Hope Chatsworth from Wire 6 discussing books, the books store looks like an old underground record store in communist times. Actually the whole city resembles communism. Then you meet a young boy named Roger Moore who is trying to decipher morse code or “tap code communication” as the call it. The episode ends with Ruth Orwell a founding members of the “Knitting Society”. Who has vowed to never let what happen to her generation happen to Electric City. You see a flash back of her as a young child and meteors killing people.

Episode 3: “Survivors” – You are introduced to Knobb’s; Episode 4: “tap code violence” – You are introduced to Dick Jacobs A tailor/tap code enthusiast and grid operative. You get a look at deeper darker look into a side of Ruth yikes!; Episode 5: “We’re social Animals” – This episode starts off with Ruth Orwell and Cleveland Carr talking about tapping. So the problem is these tappers are using up/wasting electricity that will be needed for the winter. Ruth has a flash back where she buried a child with the name of Cleveland Owell cause there was no heat. The episode ends with Emerson and Ruth Orwell saying “If we can bury our babies what else can’t we do.”; Episode 6: “All In Service To All” – A revolutionary organizing the infiltration of Wave Unit Kits. Secret word “bowl of onion, I only eat it cold”; Episode 7: “What Aren’t We Capable Of” – Mr. Orwell Knows the power of communication. He aims to harness and control it. You see how crazy the Knitting Society really is.; Episode 8: “The Time Has Come” – Cleveland kills biff and Happ.; Episode 9: “The Saddest of Reasons” – Emerson plans to kill her operative who wants to leave the society to have a family.; Episode 10: “Never The Two Shall Meet”- Cleveland Carr kills Dick Jacobs who was about to have a baby on the way. Ok so this series is semi violent and there is butt scene an I am so intrigued by ruth I can not wait for the next episodes! Have you watch it if not check out on Electric City Yahoo.com
