Oh it looks like the Leaf Men got a new name! Fox has recently retitled its new animated adventure to “Epic”. An adaptation of the popular children’s book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs written and illustrated by William Joyce. The film will be produced by Blue Sky Studios and follows the story of a battle deep within the forest. Directed by Chris Wedge and written by an Shere, voice cast so far includes: Beyonce Knowles, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Knoxville, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull (lol), Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, Blake Anderson and Judah Friedlander. The movie is set for release summer of 2013. Check out the official trailer below.
