Check out the latest campaign featuring the Ice Age Continental Drift stars promoting Earth Day. Manny, Sid, Diego and Scrat have an environmental message for their fans. The prehistoric gang wants to remind you to please remember that Earth Day is April 22, 2012. And to practice environmental acts of kindness which means try not to consume some much gas take the bus, train, walk or even bike ride if you can. Also don’t forget recycling, keeping water clean, planting a tree, using public and conserving electricity all does its part in helping keep the environment clean. Last weekend at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards Fergie, Will-AM-I, Taboo and that other guy, apl.de.ap haha just kidding, was he there? from Black Eyed Peas gave a (brick) smashing performance. The group is known for there cartoon-ish onstage persona’s and bright theatrical performances. And the latest one at the Kids Choice Awards has brought them to new heights. Their spectacular 8-bit pixelated showcased, the group in neon LEGO bricks each member was sporting LEGO apparel, from Taboo’s enormous LEGO watch, Will-AM-I LEGO hat to Fergies neon and black LEGO frock. Thomas Kinkade "Painter of Light" Dies Unexpectedly at the Age of 54
Thomas Kinkade died unexpectedly yesterday at the age of 54, he was an American painter of popular realistic, bucolic, and idyllic subjects. His pen name is “Thomas Kinkade, Painter of Light” claiming to be “America’s most-collected living artist” saying that 1 in 20 homes in the U.S. feature some form of Kinkade’s art. Before becoming a fine artist, Kinkade had worked on Ralph Bakshi’s Fire and Ice.Check out the pictures below you can see his signature glowing highlights and saturated pastel colors. Kinkade became a fine artist for Disney and his art was included Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary, Walt Disney World Resort’s 35th Anniversary. If you look close in his Disney art work you will find hidden Mickey’s. Since he died unexpectedly there is some rumors about the cause might have been from his heavy drinking. C-3PO and R2-D2 Dancing at New York Toy Fair 2012
I don’t know how I missed the Microsoft booth I was at this years Toy Fair! C-3PO from Star Wars has definitely got some moves, check out the video below of him and R2-D2 breaking it down at the Microsoft booth at this years Toy Fair this past February in NYC. C-3PO and R2-D2 made a guest appearance to promote the new Star Wars Kinect game and the R2-D2 themed Xbox console. Music started playing and the droids started grooving.

Anyway Mike Frederiqo is one of my new favorite artist these days. For me that means a lot I don’t really follow street art like I had in the past because it became to water down and generic. But Frederiqo has been blowing up check out his fashion series. His SpongeBob SquarePants art is much like Murakami, Takashi’s super flat style but with SpongeBob as the key ingredient. Frederiqo’s latest piece is a mock-up of the Supreme promo featuring Kate moss as Spongebob “SpongeKate Spongepreme” too funny! What do you think?
