Man sometimes I still wish I lived in D.C. (but I’m happier in NY) The Smithsonian Museum/American Art Museum this past weekend opened its exhibit on video games running from now until September 30, 2012. The exhibit through still images and video will explore 40-years of the evolution of video gaming. Through more of an artistic medium focusing on visual effects from the most influential artists and designers. Eighty games were selected ranging from the Atari VCS to the PlayStation 3. In addition there will be five featured playable games Pac-Man, Super Mario Brothers, The Secret of Monkey Island, Myst, and Flower.
