The Dark Knight Gets Ticket in Maryland

So this is quite a story a Batman themed Lamborghini that goes for about $800,000.00 USD was pulled over earlier this week for no license plates displayed by Maryland State Police on Route 29. To they’re surprised a dark masked figure in cape rises from the car. The Batman was identified as local millionaire businessman Leonard B. Robinson. Robinson dressed as The Dark Knight has been visiting local Metropolitan hospitals for over ten years dressed as the cape crusader. The well prepared Batman costume (definitely not some Halloween store pick up) but more like the one Micheal Keaton wore in Tim Burton‘s Batmans. Shows up at the kids wards of the terminally ill or suffering with cancer like diseases. He then hands out Batman-themed gifts and autographs, which he pays out of his own pocket. His estimated total, he spends a year on gifts for the kids is over $25,000. Wow seriously what a touching story and just shows you that even regular people can do super things. But it seems that Batman still had to pay for the ticket. OUCH. Check out a comment below from Jeffrey Dome from Children’s Hospital. And make sure you peep the video and tons of pictures below.
“These visits provide an immediate boost for these kids,”said Jeffrey Dome, the oncology division chief at Children’s. “Some of these children have to stay for weeks or months at a time. That wears down the children and it wears down the family. You have to keep up morale. A visit from a superhero is sort of like a fantasy in the middle of all this hard-core therapy.”
