Transformers 3D Ride @ Universal Studios Hollywood May 2012
Have you heard about the new Transformers 3D ride? Based off the Hasbro toy line the ride will be opening up at Universal Studios Hollywood theme parks in May 2012. Imperial Enterprise Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope Gold Silver Figures
In Japan to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the release of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Japanese mail order retailer Imperial Enterprise has started accepting orders for 1/35 figures of C-3PO in pure gold for the price of 500,000 YEN approximately $6,000 USD and R2-D2 in pure silver for the price of 150,000 yen approximately $1,800 USD and you have to act fast on these cause there is only 35 piece total in both gold and silver. Imperial Enterprise will also release 1 kg Star Wars silver coin for the price of 248,000 YEN approximately $2,981 USD in Japan on March 26, 2012.

Disney Pixar Brave Closes Out Edinburgh Film Festival

Brave will close out the 2012 Edinburgh Film Festival July 1, 2012 plus being the European premiere of the Mark Andrews/Brenda Chapman film. Brave hits U.S. theaters June 22, 2012. Hasbro Battleship Movie Trailer 2012
Whoa this movie has been definitely going under the radar check out the new Battleship Movie trailer! The Battleship is an upcoming 2012 action-adventure film inspired by Hasbro’s popular game Battleship. One of the stars of the film is Rihanna’s will be making her first film debut . Produced and directed by Peter Berg, co produced by Scott Stuber, Sarah Aubrey, Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir of Hasbro Transformers franchise. The film is written by Jon Hoeber & Erich Hoeber. Battleship shows our planet as fights for survival against a superior force. Inspired by Hasbro’s classic naval combat game, Battleship. Warner Bros. Atlas Entertianment Mandrake the Magician Movie in the Works
Warner Bros. and Atlas Entertainment have released news that they will be taking longtime comic strip Mandrake the Magician by Lee Falk (also known for the The Phantom) and developing into a full length feature film. David and Janet Peoples are working on the first draft of the script. No word yet if the film plans are animated 3D or live-action. But I will keep you posted as more news develops. The Hunger Games World Premiere
Check out what the world will be watching. The Hunger Games Premiere event last night was held outside L.A. Live’s Nokia Theatre. Fans of the best seller The Hunger Games hung outside of the red-carpet premiere of the reality-show approach to the killing arena postapocalyptic flick Monday night. Based of the novel by Suzanne Collins’ trilogy which over night has become one of the most anticipated films of the year. Some predict the films will be the next Twilight or Harry Potter. Oh and if you’re not familiar with Evangelion “Neon Genesis Evangelion” is a Japanese media franchise created and owned by Gainax. which revolves around the organization NERV to fight hostile beings called Angels, using giant humanoids called Evangelions. NERV is a private organization under the direct supervision of the United Nations.
