Mondo and Tom Whalen Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2th Century Looney Tunes Art

Tom Whalen and Mondo have produced a contemporary limited edition movie poster of classic cartoon Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2th Century which will be its first Looney Tunes print. Part of Mondo’s debut Science Fiction themed exhibition in its new gallery space at 4115 Guadalupe Street in Austin. There will be almost 40 pieces of original art and screenprints from more than 30 artists. Whalen began creating cartoon posters for Mondo early 2011 when the company’s first Disney piece was released. A black, white and silver screenprint of 1928 Disney short Steamboat Willie printed by DL Screenprinting. The Duck Dodgers piece is limited to 320 made at the price of $40.OO USD. Which by now are probably sold out by now. Other Mondo/Whalen collaborations include Disney animated features and shorts, 1934 The Wise Little Hen, 1940 Pinocchio, 1988 Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, 1937 Lonesome Ghosts, 2011 Rango and 2001 Monsters, Inc. a Pixar film.
