2012 New York Toy Fair Breaking News The Force Remains with LEGO

The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm announced yesterday at the official LEGO breakfast meeting that two companies have agreed on a franchise development deal for another 10 years of STAR WARS themed LEGOS. If you were not aware the Star Wars universe collaboration was LEGOS first licensing franchise ever back in 1999. This was a huge step for LEGO representing the epic story of the George Lucas’s Star Wars. Star Wars toys are ranked one the best-selling global toy lines. The line has inspired the first ever mini TV special featuring the LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace. Also the franchise is the basis of the first-ever LEGOLAND MINILAND display based on a fictional environment!
