PBS Kids Go! WordGirl “The Rise of Miss Power”
If you haven’t heard of WordGirl it is a Scholastic Media’s Emmy-winning series on PBS Kids Go! WordGirl fights against bullying in the all new one-hour episode “The Rise of Miss Power.” Using the power of words to help instead of harm premiers February 20, 2012. Check your local listing for air-time.
The episode introduces an intergalactic visitor Miss Power who comes to earth and promises to teach WordGirl everything she knows about crime-fighting. When the lessons don’t go as planned, WordGirl and her sidekick Captain Huggy Face begin to question whether Miss Power is a super hero or a super villain.

The plot looks very good. Looks like WordGirl will realize she has been tricked by a villain from outer space and she will learn she that insults are very harmful just like hitting someone with a fist. I can hardly wait for the movie. Bring it in on WordGirl. We your fans will be in your corner cheering you on to VICTORY!
