My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, there are so many remakes of classic 80′s cartoons it’s hard to keep track of all of them. Surprisingly I’ve only been reading good things about the re-adaptations of the classic 80′s cult classic the My Little Ponies and thought I would share some insight.

Here a brief synopsis of the cartoon is produced by Hasbro and by Lauren Faust who has worked on a variety of popular cartoon series. The main cast is composed of 6 ponies. There are 3 kinds of ponies: “Earth Ponies” which don’t have any kind of special magical powers such as flying. “Pegasus Ponies” these ponies have wings. Then there are the horned “Unicorn Ponies”. All are special in their own ways and bring harmony with in the group. There’s also Princess Celestia and Princess Luna who have both wings and horns. The story follows the main characters Rainbow Dash, a tomboyish Pegasus pony who helps control the weather, Rarity, a glamorous Unicorn with a flair for fashion design, Fluttershy, a shy Pegasus pony who is quite fond of animals, Pinkie Pie, a hyperactive pony who loves throwing parties and Applejack, a hard-working pony on her apple farm at the outskirts of Ponyville. The show is currently in its second season and airs on Hub and Cartoon Network.
