El Chavo is a very popular Latin animated comedy series about an orphan boy and his friends based off the live-action TV series created by Roberto Gómez Bolaños. Started this month McDonald’s Mexico and Costa Rico is releasing a set of collectible plush toys of your favorite characters from the TV show El Chavo Del Ocho.
The original version show started in 1971 as a sketch in the “Chespirito” show produced by “Televisión Independiente de Mexico” stared creator Roberto Gómez Bolaños. Later became a weekly half-hour sitcom series where the children were played by adults. The show was eventually cancelled in 1980, though shorts were still produced in Chespirito from that year until 1992.
