Today is the world premier of the 3D animated action adventure film based off a series of comic books created by Belgian artist Hergé (Georges Remi). The Adventures of Tintin directed by Steven Spielberg Produced by Sir Peter Jackson written by Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish, the script is based on three of the stories: The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham’s Treasure set to be released in North American theaters on December 21, 2011 in Digital 3D and IMAX. The story follows a young Belgian reporter and his dog snowy these two are always getting them selves involved in dangerous cases in which he takes heroic action to save the day. Almost every adventure features Tintin hard at work in his investigative journalism, but he is seldom seen actually turning in a story without first getting caught up in some misadventure.
