Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe downloadable characters
Midway won’t be following through with the downloadable characters planed for Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
One of the reasons being that Midway has since filed for bankruptcy and will soon be owned by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Not only that, but fans can look forward to the news that Ed Boon has also been discussing the development of Mortal Kombat 9.
This really sucks. I’ve been waiting to get this game for months now, and the only reason I didn’t pick it up sooner was the lack of characters. I’m still going to buy it but the fact that the downloadable characters have been called off really really sucks. Would have loved to see Jay Garrick, Alan Scott, a few other Lantern’s like Kyle Rayner and Guy Gardner, More costumes for Batman and superman. Impulse would ofcourse have been a very welcome edition aswell. Hawkman? Professor Zoom? This really blows and I don’t think DCU online will make up for it.
