Aniboom and The History Channel Want You to Animate History Contest!

The History Channel and Aniboom plus carefully selected musicians, actors, and writers, are giving the opportunity for one lucky animator to represent a great historical speech, demonstrating the power of free speech and democracy, to be shown on televisions around the nation!The History Channel featured collaborators include Matt Damon, Morgan Freeman, Josh Brolin, Allison Moorer, and Bruce Springsteen,
First Cut submissions starts July 15, 2009 ends September 2, 2009.
Download featured audio tracks provided by The History Channel and Aniboom. Animate the one (or ones) that inspire you most, in the most unique and interesting way imaginable.
A panel of select judges, including Chris Moore of Project Greenlight will picks four First Cut finalists and fans at Aniboom will pick the final one. The Five Finalists will be announced on or around September 16, 2009, after which they will have until November 4, 2009, to complete a Final Cut. Those Five then automatically compete for the Grand Prize Winner will receive $10,000, and a $15,000 development deal with Aniboom, and the winning entry air on The History Channel. Grand Prize Winner will be announced on or around December 2, 2009.
