Fans of Dan Milano known for his creative writing skills on Adult Swim’s ROBOT CHICKEN has been hired to revitalize the 1986 film, SHORT CIRCUIT!

Original producer David Foster will return to produce alongside Ryan E. Heppe and John Hyde. Short Circuit revolves around a robot named SAINT Number 5 aka Johnny 5, “SAINT” stands for “Strategic Artificially Intelligent Nuclear Transport.” Released in 1986 as comedy science fiction film starring Ally Sheedy and Steve Guttenberg with Tim Blaney providing the voice of robot “Number 5.” A sequel, Short Circuit 2, was released in 1988. It’s likely the movie will obviously a CGI live action adaption, so stay posted for more Short Circuit movie updates!
