Life size Mobile Suit Gundam 30th Anniversary Statue June 2009

Check out the 59-foot-tall GUNDAM ガンダム (Mobile Suit Gundam 機動戦士ガンダム) statue in Japan celebrating the Mobile Suit Gundam 30th Anniversary!
This “life size” Gundam statue is homage to the legendary Japanese metaseries. The life size Mobile Suit Gundam was unveil at Tokyo’s artificial Odaiba island and is currently complete and on display starting July 2009 as part of BANDAI’s “Mobile Suit Gundam 30th Anniversary Project.”
The statue is constructed of fiberglass-reinforced plastic over a steel frame, if only it could come to life!
