To celebrate Barbie’s 50th anniversary/birthday, toy icon Mattel is planning pink carpet events around the globe for an entire year! Barbie started the week off at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week NYC and made her way over to this years Toy Fair. March 9, 2009 the infamous Barbie Malibu Dream house gets re-designed with interior designer, Jonathan Adler. Adler will also be celebrating Barbie’s birthday with a limited edition “Jonathan Adler Loves Barbie” collection that will be available online and in-store.  “Jonathan Adler Loves Barbie” doll was featured at this years Toy Fair here is one of the first glimpse of the Interior designer’s homage to the vinyl fashionista.
