Akibanana teams up with JAPANiCAN for this special yearly event to clean the streets of Akihabara. The name of the event is “Clean & Cool Communication”. On February 13th 2009, coinciding with “Yokoso! Japan Weeks 2009”. Volunteers are currently being recruited to join the event, which is designed to give visitors to Japan and fans of Japanese pop-culture a chance to connect with Akiba on a grassroots level. One of the lucky participants will also be presented with a free daytrip for two to Mt. Fuji and Hakone. The event will run from 2:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Friday, 13 February 2009.
