Nickelodeon Inauguration 2009


Nickelodeon will cover Barack Obama’s inauguration in Washington DC on January 20, 2009. Hosted by young star reporters Lily Collins (daughter of Phil Collins) and Lil’ JJ who covered the political conventions this past summer. This will be a first in Nickelodeon’s history to cover a presidential inauguration. Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! is a tv series created by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim back in February 11, 2007 on Adult Swim. The show consists comedic live-action materials, sketches, songs, and mocking commercials etc. The Tim and Eric Awesome Tour will Be in New York @ Nokia Theatre Times Square 1/30/2009 and Washington DC @ Sixth & I Historic Synagogue 2/2/2009. Denny's raises $113,232.59 to the U.S Marine Corps Reserves' "Toys for Tots" program



Americas full service family restaurant Denny’s managed to raise and donate $113,232.59 to the U.S Marine Corps Reserves’ “Toys for Tots” program. The successes of the fundraising is a first for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves partnerships with a nationwide restaurant chain in it’s history. Denny’s believes in the importance of giving back to the community, especially to those children in need this Holidays season.

The Denny’s Cares $1 Ornament Holiday Program ran from November 17 to December 10, 2008 in participating Denny’s restaurants across the U.S. in support of the Toys for Tots. Also those who donated received a Denny’s Cares Dollar Coupon to be used during their next visit.

About Toys for Tots: A 61-year-old charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves that provides toys, books, sporting equipment which will contribute to the social educational development of children in need. Batman: Arkham Asylum 2009

Keanu Reeves Live-action film Cowboy-Bebop set for 2011


Keanu Reeves did a brief update for MTV on his live-action project Cowboy Bebop. This project has been a passion of Keanu for years and now is finally in production for 2011. Keanu has been a fan of anime since his youth, this new live-action film will follow the sci-fi anime story line of Cowboy Bebop. If your not fimaliar with the anime Cowboy Bebop is a Japanese animated television series now featured on Adult Swim @4:30am. Directed by Shinichirō Watanabe and written by Keiko Nobumoto. Consisting of 26 episodes, the series follows the adventures of a group of bounty hunters traveling on their spaceship “the Bebop” in the year 2071. It is considered one of the best anime series ever made. A perfect role for Reeves who will play lead star Spike Spiegel. Via: Screenrant
